Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic autoimmune disorder characterized by a wide range of clinical manifestations and a complex pathophysiology. Despite advances in understanding the disease, treatment options remain limited, with many patients experiencing inadequate responses or significant side effects from current therapies. This review explores novel therapeutic targets in SLE, focusing on recent advancements in the identification of molecular pathways and cellular processes that could be exploited for the development of new treatments.
